The goal of the program “Connecting culture – Creating Commerce” is to work and exchange information about the real estate market in Vietnam and the United States, explore opportunities for investment and policies to attract investors. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for Vietnamese and American investors, experts and brokers to meet and exchange their experience.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Bui Ngoc Suong - Vice President of VNREA and Mr. Evan Huynh - President of VNARP expressed their excitement as well as expectation that this program will give many opportunities for cooperation and further investment between real estate investors in Vietnam and the United States in the future.

Mr. Ron Gonzales – Former Mayor of San Jose City (USA) shared his inspiration for the economy of San Jose, California State as well as the opportunity for investment here. Thanks to the breakthroughs in technology and the global Internet network, San Jose is known as the Silicon Valley of the Global. At the same time, it is also home to the second largest Vietnamese community in the United States, promising a favorable investment environment for Vietnamese investors.
Continuing the program, Mr. Tran Minh Hoang - the member of Executive Board of VNREA and Ms. Hanh Ho - Director of Marketing Relations of CBRE introduced the overview of real estate market in Vietnam in general and HoChiMinh City in particular. In 2016, the real estate market has developed steadily and stably, especially the high-end housing segment. Real estate transactions increase in terms of quantity, quality and value. For mechanisms and policies, Vietnam is creating more favorable conditions for foreign investors to attract FDI into the real estate sector.

The program "Connecting culture - creating commerce" continues with the information exchange and business opportunities for the members of VNREA, VARS, VNARP and investors of the two countries. After the program ended on 03 March 2017 in Ho Chi Minh City, the delegation of the Vietnamese National Association of Real Estate Professionals in the United States (VNARP) will visit and work in Hanoi on 8/3/2017 and in Da Nang on 10/03/2017 in order to learn about the real estate market potential in Vietnam.
