HQC – On 12/01/2017, at the Conference in 2016, development of tasks in 2017 of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction, Hoang Quan Consulting - Trading - Services Real Estate Corporation (HoSE: HQC) was honored to be awarded certificate of merit regarding to actively participate in the investment of social housing construction and development in Ho Chi Minh City in 2016.

The conference was chaired by Mr. Tran Trong Tuan – Member; Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction. Participants included Mr. Le Van Khoa - Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, representatives of departments, leaders of the People’s Committee of districts and more than 400 representatives of civil servants and employees of the Department of Construction.

The purpose of the conference is to summarize the activities of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction in 2016, deploy the tasks in 2017 and summarize the patriotic emulation movement in 2016, launch the patriotic emulation movement in 2017.

At the conference, Mr. Le Van Khoa - Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee requested the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction to balance the stable and stable housing and infrastructure development. In 2017, Leader of the Department of Construction shall strictly manage construction activities in the city and inspect construction works from licensing, construction to sale. At the same time, it should follow up and be care to avoid the real estate bubbles due to the immense influence of the real estate market on the economy and society in general.

The implementation of social housing in Ho Chi Minh City is ranked in the Top 3 in the country along with Binh Duong Province, Hanoi and received the compliment of Mr. Le Van Khoa. He also reiterated the request of the Prime Minister at the National Online Conference on Housing social housing and housing for workers by the end of 2016: “Social housing is for low-income people but quality is not low”.

According to the final report in 2016, HCM City People's Committee has approved one project on the development and management of social housing for the investor, approved investment of 10 projects, completed 2 projects, construction 2 projects and continued to monitor and urge the construction progress of 8 projects. Up to now, the HCM City Department of Construction has examined and approved a list of 7,752 customers who registered to buy, rent and hire purchase Social housing in 9 projects which were invested without the budget.

Mr. Tran Trong Tuan, Director of the HCM City Department of Construction said that in 2017, it will continue to promote the Social Housing Development Program and complete 30,000 houses by 2020, including 20% rental housing.

At the conference, according to the Decision No. 74/ QD-SXD-TCCB dated 11/01/2017, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction has also commended and awarded certificates of merit to enterprises which actively participated in the investment and construction of social housing in the city in 2016, including Hoang Quan Consulting - Trading - Services Real Estate Corporation (HQC).

In Ho Chi Minh City, HQC has invested and co-invested 07 social housing projects. Of which, HQC Plaza (1,735 apartments, Binh Chanh), HQC Hoc Mon (562 apartments, Hoc Mon) have been handed over in 2016. HOF-HQC Ho Ngoc Lam project (718 apartments, Binh Tan District, in cooperation with Ho Chi Minh City Housing Development Fund) is being constructed and expected completion in the second quarter of 2017. It is expected in 2017, HQC will continue to start construction of HQC An Phu Tay (311 apartments), HQC Binh Trung Dong (260 apartments, HQC Binh Tan (3,280 apartments) and HQC Plaza 2 (5,440 apartments).

In recent years, by actively supporting the policy of the Government on social housing and housing development for workers HQC has been deploying a chain of 22 social housing projects for workers with a total investment of more than 20,000 billion VND. With the target of supplying 34,000 apartments to the market, HQC is as a pioneer in Ho Chi Minh City and southern provinces for investment and development of social housing and housing for workers. It meets the housing demand for policy beneficiaries, armed forces, workers and low-income people.
